Solomon Steplight

Solomon Steplight is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and administration. Currently serving as the City Administrator for the City of East Orange since January 2018, Solomon also contributes as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Montclair Kimberley Academy and as the CEO and Founder of Prepfoleo, a platform dedicated to providing guidance on after-school and summer enrichment activities for parents. Additional roles include Board Member at Braven and previous positions as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Finance Officer at Girls Who Code, Director of Finance, Strategy, and Administration at Management Leadership for Tomorrow, and SVP of Business Development at Examville. Solomon has also held various positions in the public sector, including assistant finance director and manager at the City of Newark. Educational credentials include an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and dual degrees in Mechanical Engineering (MSE and BSE) from the University of Pennsylvania.
