Sumit Talekar has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Sumit started their career at UMS Tech Labs in 2016 as an Android Developer, where they gained experience in building and supporting Android applications. In 2017, they joined Silverlink Technologies as a US IT Recruiter, responsible for full-cycle recruitment and sourcing. Sumit worked on various employment statuses and gained proficiency in W2, 1099, and C2C. In 2021, they transitioned to iPlace as a Senior Recruiter, conducting in-depth technical and non-technical interviews for Fortune 500 high-tech corporations. Sumit demonstrated expertise in sourcing candidates through various internet-based techniques and utilized multiple Applicant Tracking Systems. Currently, Sumit is working at Bravens Inc. as an Associate Team Lead - Talent Acquisition, gathering requirements and assigning them to recruitment teams. Sumit also manages the full life cycle recruiting process and maintains relationships with clients and talent.
Sumit Talekar completed their Master's degree in Computer Science at Pune Institute of Computer Technology from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University from 2012 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Sumit has also obtained several certifications including Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM®) and Talent Sourcing from LinkedIn in May 2023, Talent Sourcing from HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®) in May 2023, and Tech Recruitment Certified Professional from DevSkiller in April 2020.
