John Hume

John Hume has over 20 years of experience in software development and engineering. John currently works at BravoTran as a Senior Engineer since November 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Member Of Technical Staff at Braintree from April 2016 to November 2021, where they led software delivery teams and served as an organization technical lead and domain architect. John also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at DRW Trading Group from April 2013 to April 2016. Before that, they were a Principal Software Engineer at Intent Media Inc. from July 2011 to August 2012. John started their career at ThoughtWorks as a Lead Software Development Consultant from March 2005 to July 2011. John also worked at National Leisure Group as a Senior Developer from March 2004 to February 2005, and at MyTravel US as a Software Developer from November 2000 to February 2004. Additionally, they gained experience as a Web Developer at CruiseOne, Inc. from November 2000 to August 2003. Throughout their career, John has worked with various programming languages, including Java, Ruby, and ColdFusion, and has gained expertise in architecture evolution, problem-solving, and solution discovery.

John Hume obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Florida, where they attended from 1996 to 2000.
