Devon Ring

Devon Ring is a Staff Software Engineer at Braze since January 2020, leading the Customer Lifecycle, Identity & Permissions team responsible for core authentication and authorization functionality, including automated detection of suspicious activity and best practices evangelization. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead at WeWork, focusing on the integration of digital technology with physical environments, and as a Senior Software Engineer at ConceptShare, facilitating web content review systems. Devon also owned Beards And Bitters, managing an online retail store, and worked at QNX Software Systems, contributing to IoT solutions and AWS architecture. Earlier roles include IT Services at the Bank of Canada and an internship at Deloitte. Devon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Honours from Carleton University.
