Derald Wadham

Derald Wadham is a seasoned Controls Engineer with extensive experience in programming PLC HMI systems and specializing in AC DC drives since joining Brazeway in June 2015. Prior to this role, Derald served as a Process Tech at Gerdau from June 2010 to June 2015 and as an Instrumentation Specialist at Tate & Lyle in early 2010. Derald's background also includes significant leadership experience as Engineering and Maintenance Manager at PolyOne from April 1993 to April 2009. Early in the career, Derald served in the US Navy from July 1982 to February 1992, initially as a Radioman and later transitioning to an information technology specialist, where involvement included modernization efforts for Naval Communications and serving as a military liaison for mainframe computing. Derald is also a Certified NFPA 70E High Voltage and Low Voltage Electrical Safety Trainer.
