The BRDA Foundation was founded in July, 2022. Our team is small, but determined to change the construction and real estate industry, and we have the numbers to prove it!
For the past two years, we have been carrying out projects that enable the circulation of reclaimed building materials and furniture. We offer services to architects, asset managers and real estate developers, promoting social involvement and sustainable practices in the construction sector, decreasing CO2 emissions and minimizing waste. We promote material reuse in architectural projects. And, by doing that, we support schools and non-profit organizations in both Poland and Ukraine.

- As part of the WINDOW project, we send reclaimed PVC windows to NGOs in Ukraine, supporting grassroots reconstruction. Since July 2022, we’ve sent 2057 quality windows to our neighbors. 
- Our exhibition about material reuse created together with TŁO studio one the 1st Prize at the London Design Biennale 2023.
- Our second flagship project, BUDO, gathers building components other than windows. We sell part of the inventory in order to finance our humanitarian aid project. Most of the gathered components and furnishings, however, goes to those in need – non-profits, schools and social institutions. So far, we’ve salvaged almost 20 tons of objects from the landfill, saving up nearly 100 000 euros for those, who make the world a better place. For our clients, this means boosting their ESG and saving up on the utilization process. It’s a win win situation!
- In order, to scale up our projects, in 2024 we will be launching our OBIEG online platform, which will deal with office fit-outs, commercial centers and large storage units… stay tuned!
