Michael Kaminsky has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Michael is currently the Chief Science Officer and Founder at Enriched Ag, where they apply machine learning to optimize cattle ranch operations. Prior to that, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Carnegie Mellon University for over 17 years, collaborating with faculty and students and publishing numerous papers. Michael was also a Senior Research Scientist at Intel Labs, where they were a founding member of the Intel Science and Technology Center for Visual Cloud Systems and the Intel Science and Technology Center for Cloud Computing. Additionally, Kaminsky served as a Technical Advisory Board member at Marianas Labs Inc., and worked as a Technical Consultant at Mazu Networks. Michael began their career as a Summer Intern at PARC, a Xerox Company.
Michael Kaminsky received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley from 1994 to 1998. Michael then pursued their Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2000. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2004.
