Adena Paul

Adena Paul is a third-year Biomedical Engineering student at the University of Iowa, where they build a strong foundation in engineering principles and problem-solving. Currently, Adena serves as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Iowa Roy J. Carver Department of Biomedical Engineering, investigating the influence of mechanical strain in collagen fibers on enzymatic degradation. Additionally, they are a Fellow at Break Through Tech, developing skills in machine learning and artificial intelligence. Previously, Adena held various roles in customer service settings, including Student Manager at Burge Marketplace and Team Lead at Panera Bread. Passionate about advancing healthcare technology, they are eager to apply their technical skills to medical device development and computational modeling to enhance patient outcomes.
