Ciera Simon is currently an AI/ML Fellow at Cornell Tech and an incoming senior double majoring in Computer Science and Cognitive Science at Rutgers University. Previously, Ciera has worked as a Research Assistant at the Aresty Research Center, a Backend Software Engineer for Rutgers University Mobile App Development, and a Data Science Co-op at Regeneron, where they contributed to developing a metabolic digital twin. Ciera has also been involved in various organizations such as Kappa Theta Pi, ColorStack, and Black Girls Code, focusing on professional development and community engagement.
