Debbie Marcus

Debbie Marcus is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in educational technology and computer science education. Currently serving as Senior Director at Break Through Tech since October 2019, Debbie previously held the position of Senior Director for WiTNY at Cornell Tech for a brief period. From July 2006 to October 2019, Debbie held multiple roles within the NYC Department of Education, including Executive Director of Computer Science Education and Chief of Staff in the Office of Portfolio Development. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Educational Technologist at the Columbia Center for New Media Teaching and Learning and Special Projects Manager at Fathom Knowledge Network. Debbie holds an MPA from Columbia University SIPA and a BA in English from Wesleyan University.
