Qiuyan Chen is currently an AI/ML Fellow at Break Through Tech, selected from over 3000 applicants, where foundational skills in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence are being developed through hands-on industry projects in collaboration with advisors and peers. Previously, Qiuyan served as a McKelvey Peer Believe Mentor at Washington University in St. Louis, providing support to new engineering students and offering Calculus tutoring. Additional mentorship includes guiding first-generation, limited-income students and leading initiatives for cultural diversity as a Taylor Scholars Mentor. Experience as a Teaching Assistant for the CSE247 Data Structure and Algorithm course involved leading discussions and providing guidance on complex topics. Qiuyan Chen is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Washington University in St. Louis, scheduled to graduate in 2027.
