Swetha Upadrasta

Swetha Upadrasta is a Computer Science student at UC Irvine, with a diverse range of experiences across research, technology, and event coordination. Notable achievements include composing a thesis on small molecule interactions during a research internship at Pioneer Academics and conducting a literature review on computational models for Alzheimer’s detection at Lean On Us Foundation. Swetha is currently an AI/ML Fellow at Break Through Tech and a Business Intelligence Intern at Intuitive, where data analysis and dashboard development are key responsibilities. Additional roles include developing an app for the visually impaired at UCI Health Gavin Herbert Eye Institute and coordinating events for The Meaningful Movies Project. Swetha has also contributed to organizing a female-led hackathon through VenusHacks and supports the Dean’s Office at UC Irvine School of Humanities with web and communication needs. Education includes a senior certificate in Carnatic Music from Poti Sreeramulu University and a high school diploma from BASIS Independent Silicon Valley.
