Aaron Muñoz serves as an Assistant Professor of Acting at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign since December 2018. Muñoz is the Artistic Director and Founder of Nashville Story Garden, an incubator for new works in film, theatre, and modern media, and has contributed as Co-Writer and Actor for Merrimack Repertory Theatre's production of "Lost Laughs: The Slapstick Tragedy of Fatty Arbuckle." Additionally, Muñoz works as a Teaching Artist at Metro Parks Nashville and the Nashville Shakespeare Festival, and has played Macduff in a 2013 production of "Macbeth." Muñoz is also involved in various other creative projects, including "Tennis Tips with Freddy Love," and the adaptation of "2 Households, 2 Assholes: Shakespeare's R & J." Muñoz has academic credentials including an M.F.A. from The University of Alabama and a B.A. from Columbia College Chicago.
