Betsy Tong has held a number of positions in the technology industry since 2005. Betsy began their career at Lenovo as the General Manager of Sales and Warranty Service Business EMEA. In 2007, they were a Managing Partner at Osarean Inc, where they conducted primary research to understand demand and define strategy to attract Chinese-Americans. From 2009 to 2015, they worked at Symantec as the VP of Manufacturing and Supply Chain, and was responsible for delivering non-technical features required to fulfill the customer value proposition. From 2015 to 2018, they were at Intel Corporation as the General Manager of Solutions, where they managed a $350M product roadmap for datacenter server products. In 2019, they were a Board Member on the CrowdSmart Member Advisory Board and a Member of Female Founders Alliance. Betsy was also the Co-Founder of Honistly, where they provided smarter ways for Middle Americans to manage everyday emergency expenses. Currently, they are the VP of Client Solutions at BreakFree Solutions, where they help customers migrate to the cloud and launch transformation efforts.

Betsy Tong has a diverse education background. Betsy holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Psychology from Tufts University, a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs, Use of Force Theory from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a Masters of Arts Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University. Additionally, they have three Master of Business Administration - MBA degrees from UCLA Anderson School of Management. In October 2021, they obtained the AWS Partner Accreditation (Business) from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
