Escape the mundane with Breaking Strain Events. Your limits will be pushed as you explore the world outside the comfort zone. We're specialists in event management and have extensive experience planning races, treks, and challenges to feed the rapidly growing endurance scene. We're based in Edinburgh, but operate across the U.K. and beyond.

So how does it all work?

Let's start by defining our clientele. We've grown a strong following of individuals, who challenge themselves to our gruelling events year after year. In addition to this, we work closely with corporates and charities, offering bespoke services to assist in team building and fundraising activities. Be sure to join our intrepid community on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to stay in the loop.

Next up, an overview of how we operate. Safety comes first, always. We're fully NEBOSH, first aid and risk management qualified. Boasting over 36 years combined military and fire service experience. Secondly, we employ ISO 9001 : 2015 Quality Management Systems to ensure impeccable standards across our events. Further, we conduct a 'take only photographs, leave only footprints' policy, to maximise sustainability and environmental protection. We've been awarded bronze for the Resource Efficiency Pledge, by Zero Waste Scotland, and are striving for silver.

We encourage our clients to browse our existing events, or pitch a new idea and leave the groundwork to us. The perfect solution for corporates and charities seeking a bespoke challenge.
