Eric Peterson

Eric Peterson's work experience includes being a Senior Security Engineer at BreakPoint Labs, LLC since 2015. Prior to that, they served as the Principal Information Security Specialist at Secure Mission Solutions (a Parsons Company) from 2011 to 2015. At this position, they led and trained a team of network security analysts and developed new intrusion detection signatures. From 2005 to 2011, Peterson worked as a Systems Analyst at the Arctic Region Supercomputing Center.

Eric Peterson earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Alaska Fairbanks from 2000-2005. Eric also studied Computer Science at San Jose State University from 2002-2003. In terms of certifications, they obtained CISSP certification from ISC2 in November 2009, and GCIA certification from GIAC in January 2013.
