Anthony Brown is the Co-Founder and CEO of Breakr, a company that has raised $7mm from institutional investors and family offices. Anthony is responsible for building a team across engineering, product, marketing, and sales, while also leading all of the company's go-to-market efforts, partnerships, and business operations. Prior to this, they were a Principal Investor at Acumen, investing in and leading diligence in early stage healthcare, future of work, and fintech companies. Anthony also worked with a healthcare portfolio companies on designing their medicare and medicaid strategy in response to Covid-19, which unlocked an additional $2bn opportunity. Before Acumen, they were a Management Consultant at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP. Anthony earned their graduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where they were a graduate student, and their undergraduate degree from an unlisted university. Brown also worked as an Investor at Goldman Sachs from 2015-2017, and as an Analyst & Associate at J.P. Morgan from 2010-2015. Anthony also had internships at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Procter & Gamble in 2009 and 2008, respectively.
Anthony Brown holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Florida A&M University. Anthony also obtained a Master's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, but the start and end years are unknown. Additionally, Anthony has obtained several certifications including Series 3 from the National Futures Association and Series 7 and Series 63 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
