James Weiner

James Weiner is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in leadership and product development. As the Chief Design Officer and co-founder of Breakroom since February 2020, James focuses on building a community-powered job rating system to address rising inequality. Prior to this, James co-founded Better Work Lab and served as a Senior Product Designer at Condé Nast, where integration of Poetica's technology into their content management system was a key accomplishment. James also co-founded Poetica Ltd and led the design for the GOV.UK site at the Government Digital Service, showcasing a strong commitment to innovative design solutions. Additionally, James has a rich background in founding and directing projects in the creative sector, including Ferment Zine and Ket Lai, and has contributed to design education as a tutor at Oxford Tutorial College.
