Robert Clark

Robert Clark is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as a member of the National Academy of Engineering and a consultant at Breakthrough Energy, Robert also holds board positions at M2X Energy Inc., GW Lisk, and AIM Intelligent Machines. In academia, Robert has been a professor and held various leadership roles, including Provost and Senior Vice President for Research, at the University of Rochester since 2008. Additionally, Robert has been a director at Minerals Technologies Inc. since 2010 and previously chaired the Strategic Research Advisory Board at AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH from 2013 to 2021. Robert's entrepreneurial experience includes co-founding SparkIP and GRASSROOTS BIOTECH LLC. Educationally, Robert earned a PhD, MS, and BS in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, completing studies between 1982 and 1992.
