Breakthrough in Education are based in the centre of the historical town of Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. We place teachers, TA’s, Ancillary and Senior staff across Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridge and Essex.

We specialise in providing SEN staff to all school types. We work with Primary and Secondary Mainstream Schools, Alternative Provisions, Pupil Referral Units, Hospital Schools, Special schools and Home Tuition Services.

The company was formed through an in depth knowledge and years of experience working in schools and special needs recruitment . We understand it is a niche and specialist area which is based on the individual learning needs of the pupils. Whilst our recruitment is tailored to your specific school setting we understand that the main focus is with the particular groups and individuals that require support.

Breakthrough in Education staff for permanent, long term, block bookings and day to day roles. However, we do not see this as a ‘quick fix’ for the short term .For the children and young people every day in their education is of equal importance. We expect our staff to add value and make a positive impact ,whatever the length of the booking.

We make our choices for the school based on the most suitable member of staff for the role. To us It is not simply a matter of location ,availability and CV .We ask ourselves: Does this particular member of staff have the right approach for the children/young people in question?

SCHOOLS: There are some outstanding candidates out there who will be a total asset to your school and work with you and your pupils for years to come.

TEACHERS: There are some amazing jobs out there working with some totally inspirational pupils in settings you may not even know exist .It could be the highlight of your career!

Breakthrough in Education want to provide the solutions that benefit the school and the teachers, but most importantly that benefit the pupils. These are at the heart of all our decision making.
