Gianna Strand

Gianna Strand is currently an Associate Faculty at Columbia University and serves as the Associate Director of Clinical Research at Breakthrough T1D. Previously, Gianna held significant roles including work with stem cell transplant and CAR-T cell therapies at the University of Virginia and contributed to the Pediatric Solid Tumor Program at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Additionally, Gianna has experience as a Production & Development Intern with Scripps Networks Interactive. Academically, Gianna maintains a strong GPA across multiple degrees, including a Doctorate from Loyola University Chicago and a Master's of Science from Columbia University.
