Gus Koumarelas has had a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Gus began their career in 1996 as a Programmer/Analyst at McMaster-Carr Supply Company. Gus then worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at Winfire from 1999 to 2001, followed by a role as a Software Engineer at Digital Innovators in 2001-2002. In 2002, Gus joined Lawson Software as a Technology Consultant until 2004 when they started working as a Freelance Consultant for companies like dMarc Broadcasting and Google. Following this, Gus became the CTO and Co-founder of Daskala LLC in 2006, where they led the design, development, and deployment of a cloud-based assessment platform. Lastly, Gus has been working at Breakthrough Technologies since 2014, starting as a Sr. Software Engineer and later taking on the role of Chief Technology Officer. As CTO, they are responsible for architecting innovative cloud-native solutions, coordinating DevOps initiatives, and defining the company's technology roadmap. Gus has also led the product development of Loco, a low-code, multi-tenant application development platform.

Gus Koumarelas obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University between 1993 and 1996.
