Prior to this role, Simon Rabl was involved in a strategic review of grant applications at the University of Melbourne. A history of successful roles in government includes positions at the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions and the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources, focusing on medical technologies and pharmaceuticals. Early career highlights include project management roles within various departments and hospital systems, alongside a foundational education in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of Melbourne.
