Dwayne Rogers

Dwayne Rogers is an accomplished professional in law enforcement and public safety, currently serving as the Professional Standards Manager for the Louisiana State University Police Department since July 2019. In January 2023, Dwayne took on the role of Commissioner and Treasurer at BREC, overseeing a significant annual budget while managing numerous parks in East Baton Rouge Parish. Dwayne's previous experience includes positions as a Criminal Investigator for the State of Louisiana and as Director of Public Safety/Chief of Police at LSUA. Earlier in their career, Dwayne served as Chief of Police at Louisiana College. Dwayne holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Louisiana Christian University and has furthered education at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Louisiana State University.
