Trina Hall, MPAcc, serves as BREC Commissioner since April 2021, appointed by Mayor Sharon Weston Broome, providing policy direction for Baton Rouge's metropolitan area. Trina has been the Assistant Public Works Director of Management and Finance for the City of Baton Rouge since May 2014, overseeing financial and management operations across six Public Works departments. Additionally, Trina has contributed as an Adjunct Faculty member at Upper Iowa University since April 2018 and previously at the University of Phoenix from 2000 to 2018. Professional experience includes roles such as Controller at Tropicana Entertainment Inc., Corporate Accounting Supervisor at CB&I, and Payroll and Benefits Manager at East Baton Rouge Parish School System. Trina holds a Master’s in Professional Accountancy and a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge. Prior military service includes being an Auto Logistics Specialist and Light Wheel Vehicle Mechanic in the LA Army National Guard.
