Yang Wang

Yang Wang has extensive work experience in software engineering and management roles. Currently, Yang is the Director of Software Engineering at Breg, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, Yang worked as an Associate Director of Software Engineering at Breg from July 2022 to March 2023. Before joining Breg, Yang served as a Software Engineering Manager at MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. from April 2019 to July 2022. During this time, they managed three software engineering teams, overseeing the full lifecycle of software development. Yang also held the position of Software Development Manager at MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. from July 2018 to March 2019, where they managed software developers and successfully implemented two enterprise-level applications. Prior to MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc., Yang worked as a Software Engineering Manager at Omnitracs from December 2016 to June 2018 and as a Senior Staff Software Engineer from December 2013 to November 2016. Yang's earlier experience includes roles as a Staff Software Engineer at Qualcomm from July 2010 to the present, a Senior UI Software Engineer at EMC from March 2008 to June 2010, a Senior UI Software Engineer at Document Sciences from June 2006 to March 2008, and a Senior Software Engineer at EMC from September 2000 to the present. Yang also worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Application Architect at Shippers Network LLC from March 2000 to August 2000, as a Senior Software Engineer at Annacomp Corp. from June 1999 to February 2000, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Document Sciences Corp. from July 1996 to June 1999.

Yang Wang received a B.S. degree in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1989. Later, they pursued and completed an MS degree in Physics from Michigan State University in 1992. Finally, Yang Wang obtained a Ph.D. in Physics from Michigan State University in 1993.
