Marcus Ryu

Marcus Ryu is currently an advisor at Brella after previously working as the Director at Procore Technologies and Checkr, Inc. Marcus also served as Chairman and Co-Founder of Guidewire Software, a cloud-based core application provider to the global property-casualty insurance industry. In 2001, Marcus co-founded Guidewire and served as its CEO until August 2019. Under their leadership, the company grew to serve hundreds of insurers in 30+ countries. In 2018, Marcus joined MuleSoft as a Director but left the company in March of the following year when it was acquired by Salesforce. Marcus then became a Director at Cornerstone OnDemand before joining Bloomreach as its Director in 2020.

Marcus Ryu's educational career includes an A.B. from Princeton University and a B.Phil. in philosophy from the University of Oxford.
