Katja Conner

Katja Conner has extensive work experience in HR roles. Currently, they hold the position of VP HR EMEA at Brenntag Group since February 2021. Previously, they served as the Head of HR Global and SVP at Lanxess AG from January 2020 to December 2020. Before that, they were the Senior HR Director EMEA at Celanese Europe BV from February 2015 to November 2018, where they led the European HR function and established the European HQ in Amsterdam. Katja also held the position of Director HR Europe at Celanese GmbH from January 2008 to January 2015, where they implemented a new HR operating model and harmonized HR metrics and policies. Prior to that, they worked as an HR Manager for all subsidiaries in Europe outside of Germany at Celanese GmbH from January 2003 to December 2007, contributing to HR process design and implementation for non-German European countries.

Katja Conner pursued a degree in Jura from Heidelberg University, from 1989 to 1998. In 2019-2020, they obtained a degree as a Systemic Coach from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht.
