Kim Wright

Kim Wright is an experienced public sector leader, currently serving as Chief Executive at Brent Council since May 2023. Prior to this role, Kim held the position of Chief Executive at Lewisham Council from October 2019 to May 2023. Kim's extensive career in local government includes serving as Group Director for Neighbourhoods and Housing at the London Borough of Hackney from February 2004 to October 2019, and as Deputy Director of Education & Children and Head of Leisure & Youth Services at Barnet Council from October 1999 to February 2004. Additionally, Kim was Head of Leisure Services at Spelthorne Borough Council from April 1992 to October 1999. Kim holds a BSc (Hons) in Sports Science, PE and Recreation Management from Loughborough University and a Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma from the University of Reading. Educational background also includes 3 A Levels and 7 O Levels from Carisbrooke High School on the Isle of Wight.
