Ryan McCort is a seasoned professional in business development and trading strategies, currently serving as the Head of Business Development for Core Trading Strategies in the US at Brevan Howard since October 2025. Prior to this role, McCort held the position of Head of Macro/Fixed Income Business Development at Schonfeld from June 2021 to September 2025. Earlier experience includes leading business development at Matador Investment Management Limited in 2020 and a decade at Balyasny Asset Management L.P. as a Global Macro Portfolio Manager/Analyst. Ryan McCort began a career in finance at Goldman Sachs, where responsibilities included FX Trading and serving as an Analyst in the Hedge Fund Strategies Group from January 2004 to April 2009. McCort earned a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 2004, following education at La Salle College High School from 1996 to 2000.
