Yang Li currently serves as the Head of Front Office Data and Analytics Engineering at Brevan Howard since March 2025. Previously, Yang held the position of Head of Signal & Analytics Engineering at Allspring Global Investments from August 2022 to February 2025, where responsibilities included supporting various quantitative investment teams and fundamental portfolio managers. Prior to Allspring, Yang was with BlackRock for 14 years, serving in multiple capacities including Director and Team Lead for Systematic Fixed Income Alpha Generation Technology, and contributing as a lead engineer in several successful projects, such as launching the Style Advantage fund and developing a portfolio management application that managed over $60 billion in active equity assets. Yang's career began at Lehman Brothers as a Senior Software Developer in Equity Technology, where a new asset servicing platform was developed. Education was completed at King's College London.
