Matthew Hon

Matthew Hon has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2012, they worked as a Manager of Corporate Sales at Braidwood Hospitality Management, where they focused on connecting hotels with tour operators and corporate clients. Matthew then moved on to Teldon in 2014, working in retention sales to help businesses maintain personal connections and word-of-mouth marketing. In 2016, they briefly worked as a Business Development Manager at Flowfinity Wireless Inc. In 2017, Matthew joined FI.SPAN, a fintech startup, where they focused on business development and partnerships between banks and fintech APIs. In 2018, they took on the role of Co-Founder and Sales Director at Brew Ninja, a position they currently hold. Alongside their work at Brew Ninja, Matthew was also an Organizing Member at Startup Grind Vancouver from 2018 to 2020, where they supported and promoted entrepreneurs and startups in the Vancouver area. Lastly, from 2014 to 2022, Matthew served as a Director at the 778 Sports Association, an organization aimed at creating fun co-ed sports leagues in the metro Vancouver area.

Matthew Hon completed a Digital Marketing Foundation program at RED Academy in 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Diploma in Financial Management with a specialization in Corporate Finance at the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2007.
