Alex Townsend

Alex Townsend is an experienced supply chain leader currently serving as the S&OP Director at BrewDog, where they lead the demand and supply planning functions. Prior to this role, Alex held various positions including Head of Supply Planning at The HEINEKEN Company and Supply Chain Planning Manager at Carlsberg UK, managing teams and overseeing production planning. Alex began their career as a Graduate Management Trainee and worked as a Shift Manager at GIST and Carlsberg Group. They hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Science and Technology and a Master of Science in Operations Management, both from The University of Birmingham.
