Sam DeWitt serves as the State Government Affairs Director for the Brewers Association, where responsibilities include building a government affairs apparatus and lobbying on key issues such as taxation and self-distribution across all 50 states. Prior to this role, Sam held various positions at Compassion & Choices, achieving significant legislative successes including the passage of the Medical Aid in Dying law in New Mexico. Additional experience includes roles in communications and public outreach in healthcare, legislative support, and content management across multiple organizations, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Montana.
