Gavin Murphy serves as the Director, Associate General Counsel for Product & Regulatory at Brex since September 2024, following a role as Assistant General Counsel for Product. Prior experience includes positions as Product Counsel at Square and Varo Bank, as well as an Associate at Paul Hastings and Kirkland & Ellis, focusing on commercial and patent litigation. Gavin began a legal career as a Summer Associate in patent litigation and has interned for Honorable Robert L. Pitman. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University.
