Thinon I. is a senior researcher and marine geologist/geophysicist at BRGM since 2009, where they also serve as a project leader and scientific expert. They have previously held a position as an ATER in Geology at Université de Nantes from 1999 to 2001. Thinon holds multiple degrees, including a Magistère in Geological and Earth Sciences from École normale supérieure de Lyon and a PhD in Marine Geology from Université de Bretagne Occidentale. Their extensive education also includes training at CNR Bologna and Ifremer.
