Ryan Derham

Ryan Derham is a skilled education professional currently serving as a Math and Literacy Specialist at Bridge the Gap since August 2023. Prior to this role, Ryan worked as a Seasonal Associate at Great Minds from March to August 2023 and was a 5th Grade Teacher at THE ACADEMY OF ALAMEDA for five years, from August 2018 to July 2023. Earlier experiences include serving as a Registered Behavior Technician at The Speech Pathology Group and as a Child Care Worker at the Board of Child Care of the United Methodist Church. Ryan began a teaching career as a Teacher at the Institute of Reading Development in 2014. Academically, Ryan holds a Master of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of California, Berkeley (2017-2018) and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Goucher College (2010-2014).
