Stephen Beer

Stephen Beer is an experienced professional in the IT services and solutions sector, currently serving as Managing Director at Bridgeall since December 2002, where the focus is on ensuring the reliability and security of business-critical applications and infrastructure. Previously, Stephen held the position of CEO at smartcrowds from September 2017 to June 2021, specializing in innovation management and organizational improvement through cloud-based software. Stephen's prior experience includes leading SimplyReserve as Managing Director, where an innovative web-based booking system was developed, and serving as a Project Management Consultant at ScottishPower during a transformative period in the utilities industry. Additionally, Stephen worked as a Product Line Development Manager at Oracle and began a career as a Research Assistant at Strathclyde University. Stephen holds a PhD in Software Engineering and a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, both from the University of Strathclyde.
