Dan Warthen

Dan Warthen, Ph.D., is an experienced professional in drug safety and pharmacovigilance with a strong academic background in biological sciences. Dan has held significant roles including Drug Safety Associate at PRA Health Sciences and various positions at the University of Virginia, where responsibilities included managing clinical trials, conducting biomedical research, and teaching undergraduate biology. Dan’s experience also encompasses supervisory and leadership roles at Worldwide Clinical Trials, overseeing pharmacovigilance teams and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Currently, Dan serves as Senior Manager of Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance at BridgeBio, further contributing to advancements in patient safety and clinical research. Dan earned a BS in Biological Sciences from Carnegie Mellon University and a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Virginia.
