Jin Ju

Jin Hyun J. is an experienced data science and bioinformatics professional currently serving as the Director of Data Science and Operations at BridgeBio since July 2021, where focus includes establishing essential data infrastructure and launching data-driven initiatives for disease prioritization. Previously, Jin Hyun J. held several roles at Guardant Health, including Principal Computational Biologist and Senior Computational Biologist, contributing to the development of Minimal Residual Disease detection products through genomic and epigenomic analysis. Earlier experience at Illumina involved work as a Bioinformatics Scientist II, where Jin Hyun J. was a key representative in the development of the TruSight Oncology 500 assay and led the creation of the tumor mutational burden algorithm. Educational qualifications include a PhD from Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University and a BEng in Biotechnology from Yonsei University, complemented by an exchange program in Biology at UC San Diego.
