Matt Roach

Matthew Roach is an experienced professional in AAV production and process development, currently serving as Director of AAV Production at BridgeBio since February 2022, after holding the role of Associate Director. Prior to BridgeBio, Matthew was Team Leader for AAV Process Development at Precision BioSciences, Inc., where responsibilities included managing a team, innovating production processes, and ensuring successful transfers to cGMP manufacturing. Previous experience includes positions at Pfizer focused on purification process development for gene therapy products and at North Carolina State University, where Matthew engaged in biomanufacturing training and protein purification research. Matthew holds a Master's degree in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from North Carolina State University.
