Sean Doherty

Sean Doherty is an accomplished marketing executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Marketing at BridgeBio since August 2021, Sean previously held various senior roles at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from 2011 to 2021, including Vice President Marketing and Senior Director of Global Marketing Pipeline, where responsibilities included leading commercial efforts for gene editing programs and developing strategies for CF assets. Sean's earlier career includes positions at Merck and Schering-Plough Canada, demonstrating a strong foundation in gastroenterology and regional sales management. Sean holds an MBA from Syracuse University and a BA in Economics from Union College.
