Sebastian Waldmeier

Sebastian Waldmeier is currently the VP of Commercial, International, and VP of Head of Commercial Operations, EMEA at BridgeBio, where responsibilities include driving commercial functions for Ex-US markets to support product development and launch preparations. Previously, Sebastian held the position of Senior Director of Global Commercial Excellence at Novo Nordisk Rare Disease, and earlier served as VP, Head of Commercial Operations, EMEA at BridgeBio. Additional experience includes serving as Sr Marketing Director for Gene Therapy Ophthalmology at Novartis, where Sebastian led launch readiness efforts for Luxturna, and as Sr Director, Business Unit Lead Neurology at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, responsible for launch capabilities for Soliris. Earlier roles at MSD Switzerland and Merck & Co., Inc. encompassed various marketing and sales positions. Sebastian holds a Master’s degree in Political Sciences from the University of Lausanne.
