Rylee Keys has worked in various roles since 2003. In 2003, they were the Student Body President & Legislative Affairs Director for Portland Community College, Rock Creek Campus Student Government. In 2004, they were a Clinical Research Assistant Volunteer at OHSU. In 2007, they were a Technical Support Representative at Monsoon Commerce. In 2010, they were a Technical Support Team Lead at ShopIgniter, Inc. In 2014, they were a Ruby on Rails Developer at Aetna and a Senior Software Engineer at CA Agile Central - Rally Software. In 2017, they were a Senior Application Developer at Ingersoll Rand. From 2018 to 2022, they were a Senior Software Engineer - Percy.io at BrowserStack and is currently a Staff Software Engineer at BridgeCare.

Rylee Keys attended Portland Community College from 2001 to 2004, where they earned an A.S. in Political Science, Economics, and Liberal Arts. They then attended Portland State University from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Science degree in Pre-Medicine.
