Gary Powell has extensive experience in the tyre industry, currently serving as the Technical / Field Engineering Manager for Bridgestone Tyres UK Limited since January 2013, where responsibilities include setting direction and strategy for the North Region Field Engineering Team. Prior to this, Gary was a Senior Manager for OE Engineering at Bridgestone Europe from March 2001 to January 2013, overseeing key OEM accounts such as Volvo and Ford. Gary's career began at Goodyear & Dunlop Tyres as a Principal Design Engineer from March 1989 to December 2000, focusing on tyre development for Japanese OEMs. Gary holds a First Class BEng (Hons) degree in Management of Manufacturing Systems from Birmingham City University.
