Kory Smith

Kory Smith is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in tire technology and product development. Since August 2008, Kory has held various positions at Bridgestone Americas, currently serving as Chief Engineer of Consumer Tire Advanced Product Engineering, where leadership of an engineering team focuses on innovative processes to bring new concepts to market. Previous roles include Manager of New Concept Engineering, Section Manager of Multi-Physics and Systems, and Section Leader in Tire Mechanics, overseeing teams of engineers and scientists. Kory's career began at Hankook Tire America Corp. as an Engineering Co-op, where contributions included designing experiments for tire wear testing and developing predictive methodologies. Kory holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from The University of Akron and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Toledo.
