Marie Schmidt is an accomplished professional in security program management with diverse experience across esteemed organizations. Currently serving as Director of West Security Programs and Latin America at Bridgestone Americas since May 2022, Marie has expanded the delivery of critical security initiatives to the EMEA region and is focused on transforming the Corporate Security function into an agile and resilient team. Prior experience includes managing the Global Intelligence & Travel Security Operations Center at Baker Hughes, where Marie established a security operations center and oversaw travel security for high-risk destinations. With a background at UnitedHealthcare Global as a Senior Intelligence Analyst and an Intelligence Analyst, Marie has provided security intelligence and monitoring services across various sectors. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in International Affairs from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor's in International Affairs and French from Miami University.
