Robert Wollyung

Robert Wollyung has over 25 years of experience in tire development, primarily at Bridgestone Americas where roles have included Chief Engineer for International OE Consumer Tire Development and Toyota and Mazda Tire Development. Wollyung has managed teams focused on advanced engineering tools and methods, driving innovation in tire design for light trucks, SUVs, and passenger vehicles. Previous positions include Manager for both Advanced Engineering Tools and Design Technology, as well as Section Manager for Truck/Bus and Consumer Tire Development. Early career experience at Penn State University involved conducting research related to automotive safety and dynamics. Wollyung holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University.
