Tom Sams

Tom Sams is an accomplished Lead Vehicle Dynamics Engineer at Bridgestone Americas, where responsibilities include advancing technologies such as tire-mounted sensors, digital twins, and connected smart tires since May 2013. With a focus on tire and vehicle technology, Tom has also worked on electronic innovations and vehicle dynamics, contributing to various projects in advanced digital solutions and truck/bus tire development. Prior experience includes an engineering co-op in the Air Disc Brakes Division at Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC and an internship at NASA Glenn Research Center. Tom holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from The University of Akron.
