Cielo Herrera

Cielo Herrera is a fourth-year student at the University of Iowa pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication, a minor in Dance, and a Certificate in Event Management. Currently, Cielo serves as the UIOWA Chapter President for BridgeUSA, where they organize civic dialogue events to promote viewpoint diversity. Their experience includes roles in event planning, community outreach, and marketing, particularly as a Director of Marketing for Walk It Out, the largest multicultural student organization on campus. Cielo is committed to fostering inclusive dialogue and advocating for the Latinx student community as a Latine Constituency Senator within the University of Iowa Student Government.
